Contact for all Members of Parliament are listed on the websites below. They are elected to represent you so make sure you keep them informed of how you feel.

 

• Find your federal electorate - To find out who your Federal member is you need to know what electorate you live in. If you don't know you can find out here on the Electoral Commission website.

• Contact your Federal Member of Parliament - Once you know your electorate or Member of Parliament, you can get their contact details here.

 

• Contact Queensland Senators - To participate fully in the process of making new laws and debating public policy, senators need to be well informed. In order to be effective representatives, senators must understand the opinions, needs and problems of the people of their state or territory. There are 12 Senators for Queensland, make sure you keep them in touch with your views.
   

• Contact the Home Affairs Minister - The Minister for Home Affairs, Peter Dutton oversees all aspects of Australia's immigration policies and procedures. So keep him informed of what he should be doing on your behalf
   

• Write to the Prime Minister - Everything the PM does is on behalf of Australia, so make sure he knows how you feel as an Australian citizen.
